A platform of events for Deaf people
I am Janusz Migowego, a Polish Sign Language interpreter, and I created DEvents — an online platform for Deaf people. Organisers often do not know how to reach the Deaf community. DEvents is here to change that.

The aim of DEvents
DEvents aims to: 1) give Deaf people information about cultural, sports, educational and other events that are accessible to them; 2) help organisers reach Deaf audiences.

How it works
Adding events
Organisers add events to the platform so information reaches a wide audience.
Filter by category
Users filter events by category — culture, sport, education — and quickly find what interests them.
Wyszukiwanie
Advanced search lets you look up events by date, location, category and accessibility.
Contact the organiser
You can create an account, follow organisers and ask them questions directly on the platform.
Accessible information
Event information includes Sign Language, captions, audio description, hearing loops and other forms of support.

Why DEvents?
DEvents is a platform that:
- Connects event organisers with the Deaf community.
- Makes it easier to find events adapted to Deaf people’s needs.
- Promotes inclusion and accessibility for everyone.
DEvents aims to build a more accessible environment — for Deaf and hard-of-hearing people, blind people, people on the autism spectrum and people with mobility disabilities.
